Children tracked by sat nav to stop bad behaviour: Children will be tracked by satellite on public transport and encouraged to spy on their friends and report bad behaviour, under a pilot scheme by the Welsh Assembly.

Parents to be hit with penalties if children misbehave at school
: "Schools will also be encouraged to use traditional methods such as detentions, suspensions, isolation rooms and lunchtime curfews to punish badly behaved pupils. They will be told to order pupils to remove caps and confiscate mobile phones.

Gordon Brown to force teenagers to do community work
: Every teenager in Britain will be compelled to carry out 50 hours of community work. If the Prime Minister's initiative comes to fruition, it will see young people forced to carry out service for the nation for the first time since National Service ended in 1963.
